Nocturnal Emissions as told by the ancients

The second film in the trilogy just in case you would like to view it:

It has been a while... last fall was so busy with productions we didn't get a chance to slate or shoot ~Hand of the Earth~. We are finally shooting this February and need your support. Go to Indie Go Go and then "Hand of the Earth" and donate anything you can $5 and up will greatly help us make this heavy art department piece.

~Hand of the Earth~ the third and final short film of the trilogy is a Fairy Tale about how we preserve things any way we can. For example, a hat or belt I can't bare to part with because it was my fathers and he wore it all the time.

Preservation can occur in many forms: thoughts, memories, a feeling, pictures, things and items of those we hold dear. We choose what to hold dear and what to release. Preservation has deep and rich layers like that of a cake. We enjoy preserving in beautiful containers which hold all the precious items safe.

Hand of the Earth will take the viewer on a journey into the cross-sections of the earth and the inner workings of you and what you hold dear. What you are willing to live with and what you are willing to do without.

Well it has been awhile!

Working on the 3rd movie of the trilogy. The Pit is about Impermanence, Nocturnal Emissions as Told by the Ancients is about Immortality and now the final and most art intensive piece I have ever attempted is called Hand of the Earth! It is about preservation.....

The set design will probably take 2 months to build due to our schedules and the intricate nature of the piece.

Shoot by October 2011!!

~Nocturnal Emissions as told by the Ancients~....... hmmm an interesting working title for my film that is currently in pre-production. Especially, considering all of the upset over my use of the words nocturnal emissions. Please know that I was not thinking of a mans wet dream when using this in my title, but instead a womans. Oops should I not say wet dream either? This a natural occurrence of the human body. Are Americans really this uptight?

Turns out there was a squirrel living behind The Pit set.
Poor dear. The great Arizona Grey Squirrel. Wanted to name
him Larry. But, realized it must be Lara as she had a big pregnant
belly. She was very upset with me for tearing the set down, her
nest now exposed. I gave her a great feast of almonds and crackers, she ate
them all then bid me good-bye off to find the next place she would call home.
